Terms of Service
Draft — pending legal review.
Plain-English terms for using Markdowners during early development. They're not a substitute for a lawyer-reviewed document, which is planned before any public launch.
Accounts
You're responsible for what you publish under your account. Don't share credentials, don't impersonate anyone, and don't create an account for anyone but yourself.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you publish. By publishing a module or stack, you grant Markdowners a license to host, display, and distribute it under the license you choose (CC-BY-4.0, MIT, or CC0) so other users can actually use it.
Acceptable use
No malware, no secrets or credentials, no harassment, no illegal content, and no attempts to break the platform (rate limits, RLS, moderation) or to publish instructions designed to trick an AI agent into harmful actions.
Moderation
We can hide or remove content that violates these terms, based on reports or our own review, without prior notice.
Termination
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using the service at any time.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
