About Markdowners
Markdowners is a community library of reusable instruction modules for AI agents — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and whatever comes next. Every module is a prompt, written properly: specific, tested, and ready to paste.
Why composability
Every other library of AI prompts and rules is a catalog: search, copy, paste, repeat for every related concern you forgot. Markdowners modules declare their own dependencies instead. Add “Stripe integration” and “payment security basics” and “webhook handling” come with it automatically, in the right order — then everything compiles into one clean file. Update the shared module once, and everyone who depends on it benefits.
Who it’s for
Anyone handing instructions to an AI agent who’d rather not write them from scratch: developers on Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot who want battle-tested rule modules — but just as much, anyone producing subtitles, translations, image prompts, meeting notes, summaries, or LinkedIn posts with an AI’s help. Coding is one use case among many; if you don’t already know how to prompt well, that’s exactly what these modules are for.
Honest v1 status
This is an early build. Moderation is manual, rate limits are per-server-instance, and the CLI is a stub. Treat community modules like open-source code: read before you paste something into an agent that can execute commands.
